National Trails Day — What a Day!

National Trails Day, organized by the American Hiking Society, had thousands of events hosted throughout North America. From trail cleanups to group hikes, it was a day that celebrated our amazing public trails systems. A few of our Ambassadors led their own group hikes, introducing some people who are new to hiking to trails, and experienced hikers to trails that were new to them. Here are a few photos from our Ambassador led hikes!

As Tubbs Snowshoes Ambassadors, we ran a kid-friendly hike sponsored by Tubbs, who kindly provided awesome swag bags and goodies for everyone involved. We invited friends, family, neighbors, and our larger community. In total, we had nine adults and thirteen kiddos hiking with us at Ward Reservation in Andover, MA – quite a few of whom we’d never met before! It was an awesome event that brought together a big group of people who all share a similar mindset – get kids into nature, where they belong! A big thanks to Tubbs for helping facilitate such a great experience.
